Principal - Mrs. Kristy Muffoletto
My name is Kristy Muffoletto and I am originally from Buffalo, NY. I earned my BA from Buffalo State College and then moved to Las Vegas in 2003. I continued my education, earning my Masters from NOVA Southeastern University. I've worked in the Elementary School setting within classrooms, I was an Instructional Coach, provided professional development for the district, and then became an Assistant Principal. I am extremely honored to be named the Principal of William and Mary Scherkenbach Elementary School, and am excited to see what the future holds for our students and community. I am eager to continue working with our students, staff, and community to make our Scherkenbach Stars succeed in every possible way!
Assistant Principal - Mr. Jim Harenberg
My name is Jim Harenberg, and I am honored to serve as the assistant principal at Scherkenbach Elementary School. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University. I pursued elementary education at UNLV and earned a Master's in School Administration from the University of Phoenix. I have taught at various levels in elementary schools across the Las Vegas Valley. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and reading. I am eager to continue working with the Scherkenbach community, an experience I truly value. I look forward to collaborating with all of you to further our students' success.
