OUR MISSION:
The community of Scherkenbach Elementary School works together to create a positive environment that ensures that students will master essential skills and demonstrate their strengths and talents through active learning.
SCHOOL HOURS:
Regular Office Hours:
7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Student School Day:
Grades K-5: 9:00 a.m. to 3:26 p.m. (tardy at 9:15 a.m.)
Playground opens at 8:50 a.m. daily for morning recess. Buses arrive at 8:50 a.m.

Currently, per CCSD guidelines, all adults and ALL students in grades PreK-5 MUST wear a facial covering before entering the school campus. Masks must be worn over the nose and mouth for the duration of time on the school campus. Neck gators and handkerchiefs are not considered acceptable forms of facial coverings.
